Faulkner, Phillipa

Philippa Faulkner, a painter, sculptor and graphic artist, is lauded for her textural colourfield works, cubistic watercolours and abstract works in acrylics and oils.

She was born in Belleville, Ontario, and went on to study at the Parsons School of Fine & Applied Art, Advertising & Design and the Doon School under Carl Schaeffer and F.H. Varley. She then went on to study in Provincetown and N.Y.C. with Hans Hoffman, and eventually in Mexico, where she was awarded a scholarship at the Instituto Allende.
